Wilton Park

In October 2024, we began hosting our holiday programs and Nature School sessions at Wilton Park after moving from the now  decommissioned Huntleigh GirlGuiding Centre. Wilton Park features a huge field with a pavilion, bordered on one side by mature trees and native bush. Adjacent to the park is Otari-Wilton's Bush, New Zealand’s only public garden dedicated exclusively to native plants—a perfect setting for playing, exploring and fostering a deep connection with nature.

Access and Parking

Wilton Park is located at 208 Wilton Road, Wilton, Wellington. Please park on Wilton Road or Surrey Street and ensure you do not use the driveway or block access to any private properties. For those using public transport, Bus Route 14 stops conveniently right beside Wilton Park.

Island Bay Scout Hall

This Everyone Out location has a large grass area surrounded by mature pine trees and bush. Neighbouring the hall is the South Coast Kids Bike track, the Berhampore Golf Links and an area of regenerating bush.

The hall's location means that it's perfect for excursions to the south coast. It's less than 2km or 25 minutes walk to Island Bay marine reserve and hall is only a stone's throw from a thriving community orchard.

Access and Parking

The hall is located on Dover Street, opposite number 7, and can be accessed via a small gravel parking and turning area. Whenever possible, please use the angled parking spaces available on Dover Street. For those traveling by public transport, the hall is conveniently situated on the No. 1 bus route, with a stop just a few meters away.
