Eco Warriors at the Spring holiday programme - Wilton Park

On the first day of the Spring holiday programme at Wilton Park we had an enthusiastic group of tamariki who were set on cleaning up the bush. They started the impromptu Park clean so they could safety access all areas of the park.These tamariki worked for most of the day to remove rubbish from the bush area of our new home. Nature School is changing days

The Island Bay Friday Nature School group is moving to Thursday. We started our Friday sessions in term 2 this year but have had low enrolment numbers for 3 terms now, while our Wednesday sessions have been running a waitlist. Discounts, scholarships and payment plans

Did you know we offer limited 50% discounted community service card (CSC) spaces at our holiday programmes. These space are for whānau who hold a CSC and would find our fees a barrier to their tamariki (children) attending. They are limited to three sessions per child and families must apply before making a booking.We have a small internal scholarship fund made up from unused credits and privately donated funds. Increase to our Fees

Last month the New Zealand minimum wage increased by $1.50 (approximately 7%)  so in response we increased all staff wages.  This means that we are able to help our staff manage the increased living costs we have all been experiencing but unfortunately as a result our fees will be increasing.
